Infrastructure:
Jennifer aims to advocate for investments in modern, well-equipped school facilities, including the construction of new buildings with the latest educational technology and specialized learning spaces. She also seeks to upgrade the district’s digital infrastructure, ensuring reliable high-speed internet and sufficient devices for students, while also prioritizing comprehensive security measures and accessibility upgrades to create safe and inclusive learning environments.

Workforce Development:
Recognizing the need to prepare students for successful careers, Jennifer plans to expand the district’s career and technical education programs, offering a range of industry-relevant courses and certifications. She also aims to establish partnerships with local employers to facilitate internship and apprenticeship opportunities, allowing students to gain real-world experience and develop the in-demand skills necessary to thrive in the evolving job market.
Principled Leadership:
As a School Board Member,, Jennifer will advocate for smaller class sizes and personalized attention to ensure each student’s unique needs and learning styles are addressed. She will also prioritize the implementation of evidence-based curriculum and teaching methods, drawing on her background in education and counseling to guide the selection of learning frameworks that maximize student outcomes, including hands-on, project-based learning and social-emotional learning strategies. Furthermore, Jennifer will champion initiatives that promote the overall well-being of students, recognizing that academic success is inextricably linked to social and emotional development, and aspiring to create an educational environment that nurtures the growth and flourishing of the whole child.
